Liftoff.bio is a curated directory of the software, models, databases and hardware powering modern computational biology — what many now call TechBio.

Why we built it

The pace of tooling in biology has become genuinely hard to track. New structure-prediction models, single-cell methods and lab-automation frameworks ship constantly, and good tools are scattered across GitHub, preprint servers, package registries and company blogs. Liftoff.bio brings them together in one place, each with a clear summary of what it does, how it is licensed and where to learn more.
